I don’t think we live in an equal society. Not as long as:
Women can dress in skirts, women can dress in trousers. Men can dress in trousers, but if they put a skirt on, they’re transvestites. Or Scottish.
It’s alright for girls nowadays to play with cars, run in the woods, climb trees. Boys who want to play with dolls or play family, are frowned upon.
Girls can like whatever color they want. If a boy likes pink, however, it’s a sign of him being gay.
It’s alright for women to have a career and to be stay at home mommies. Stay at home daddies are still looked at strangely (what is wrong with him??)
Women can be doctors, lawyers, presidents, human right activists, nurses and pretty much anything except Santa Claus. Men can be doctors, lawyers, presidents, human right activists but they are MALE nurses and that is really strange, isn’t it?? They do have exclusive rights on Santa Claus though.
